Q: I want to remove my shower doors, can the holes be repaired? AND I dropped something in my tub and cracked it, can the crack be fixed?
A: Yes, the holes and cracks can be repaired so you will never see where they were. The color match is the most difficult part. Knowing the manufacturer of the unit really helps. We can mix/match to come as close as possible. You will be able to see the color before we apply it.

Q: How long does this take?
A: Repairs can normally be done in one day. The tub can be used immediately.

Q: How can I tell if I have a delamination problem?
A: You may first notice the problem as a bounce or give in the floor. Later cracks can be seen and they then start to leak. The repair gives the tub/shower a whole new bottom, stronger than the original.

Q: Why refinish instead of replacing?
A: It is quicker and less expensive! We use a 24 hour dry process, so 24 hours after we leave your house, you can caulk between the tub and the wall and then you are free to use your tub. You avoid plumbing issues, tearing out a mess, and replacing flooring if the new tub does not fit perfectly.

Q: How long does it take?
A: We are in your house about six hours for a standard reglaze. We use a 24 hour dry process, so 24 hours after we leave your house, you can caulk between the tub and the wall and then you are free to use your tub.

Q: How long will reglazing last?
A: We warranty our work for three years against defects in materials and workmanship. We have many refinished bathtubs that are ten years old and still look perfect. Proper care is key to longevity.

Q: What colors are available?
A: We stock a bright white and almond. We can special order any color you wish. You just provide the brand name and the color and give us a week to get it in!

Q: What do I have to do before you arrive?
A: We ask that you have your tub clean and remove accessories from your bathroom. You repair any leaky faucets. Let us know if there are shower doors.

Q: What if my bathtub has been refinished before?
A: This is not a problem, although we must remove all of the old resurfacing material right down to the original base before we begin. There is an additional charge for this.

Q: What do I use to clean my tub after it has been reglazed?
A: You may use any non-abrasive cleanser such as Lysol Tub and Tile Cleaner, Clorox Bleach Spray, Dow, Mr. Clean (Liquid).
